Blandford enquiry office will be temporarily closed between Friday 10 April and Tuesday 28 April 2026 due to essential building works. We would like to apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and have provided some information below that may be useful: • During this temporary closure Gillingham enquiry office will be reopen to the public between 10am and 3pm on Friday 10 April, Tuesday 14 April – Friday 17 April, Tuesday 21 April – Friday 24 April and Tuesday 28 April for the collection of seized property or collection of firearms for return only.
• On Friday 17 April our neighbourhood policing team will be holding a Community Contact Point at M&S Foodhall in Blandford between 10am and 11am, allowing you to speak directly with local officers, report incidents, and discuss community issues without an appointment.
• If you would like to report crime, an incident, provide intelligence, or a range of other matters – you can do this online by visiting: Dorset Police website or call 101.
• If you attend Blandford police station to sign-on for bail, you can still do so by using the yellow phone, which can be found outside the police station.
• For any other matters, such as the collection of lost or seized property, section 165 release requests or prohibition orders, please visit the enquiry office from Thursday 30 April 2026.
